Hi! Meet the people behind Project SpaceLock - Team SpaceInvaders. We are just another bunch of undergrad students who think things can be done better! We are a passionate about technology and the way it shapes our life. You always find us busy playing around with bits and chips :) but sometimes we do like to come up to you and show what technology can do, and Project SpaceLock is all about that :)
Abhishek is a 2nd year CSE student at Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Bangalore.
He has been passionate about computers and programming, ever since his brother introduced him to GW-BASIC back in the year 2000.
He takes keen interest in Game Development, Programming Contests, Computer Security and Web Designing.
He is a fast learner and does the planning and web development (ASP.NET) for SpaceLock. These days he is dabbling into web design/development at MadeToKill Design Studio, a web designing company he started with his friend Shaabi.

Aditya is in 2nd year ECE at ASE, Bangalore. He loves doing electronics projects in his free time. He is interested in Robotics and related fields.
Aditya works over the WebCam control over RF in SpaceLock. Besides that, his experience in microcontroller helps us control the camera in a smooth and precise manner.

Harsha is too a 2nd year ECE student at ASE, Bangalore. His interests include Matlab, Visual Basic and Java programming.
He loves exploring the world of Computer Vision and Speech Recognition and has done a lot of work in Image Processing.
Harsha handles the motion detection module used in SpaceLock. His clever motion detection techniques help us make SpaceLock much more intelligent than other surveillance systems.

Prabhat is in 2nd year EIE at ASE- Bangalore. His skills include network programming, C#, Game Development using XNA Game studio and scripting in Perl. Besides programming software he also plays around with his PIC microcontroller.
He casually solves programming problems at spoj.pl and takes keen interest in Economics.
He is behind the C# controller modules in SpaceLock. His work includes Network Programming and SMS alerts.

Currently we're putting up SpaceLock for Microsoft's Student2Business program.
We intend to keep developing SpaceLock to make it more robust and better day-by-day even after the contest gets over.
Our aim -
- to put visual security in reach of everyone by cost minimization and re-use
- to make SpaceLock easy to assemble, install, configure and maintain
- to present a new way to look at visual security
- to put before you a unique example of hardware, software & network integration
- to instill the same passion which drives us into our friends
- to send out a message on how to maximize our potential with what we already have
